“If life gives you lemons, don’t settle for simply making lemonade – make a glorious scene at a lemonade stand.”
So Cal has had a heat wave this week and it is 100+ degrees at the end of September. I am sharing my recipe for my refreshment of choice on a hot day. I drink cold unsweetened green tea every day. It’s my guilty pleasure without the guilt.
When you add sparkling water, mint, and lemon it elevates the drink from beverage to refreshment. True Food Kitchen has one on their menu and I have tried my best to make a similar recipe. Have you ever been to True Food? Go! Especially in the summer when they have their Lemon Tart with Coconut Whipped Cream on the menu!
Now if my kids ran a lemonade stand and sold Lemon Tart and Sparkling Green Tea Lemonade I would definitely make a glorious scene.
