Bohemian (Boho) style is trending in Southern California.
I dig it all, it’s relaxed and unkempt, yet creatively, beautiful and whimsical. If you want to try the perfect California Boho meal, make a smoothie bowl.
It’s beauty in a bowl!
I am not a food photographer. So posting pictures of my own food creations gives me a little performance anxiety. Earlier this week, I read the article about the mom who lathers her child in toxic death cream and I get it. Our measuring stick will consistently come up short if we continue to measure ourselves against other people.
The main thing that frustrates me about social media is the continual facade of perfection.
I long for beauty and knowledge as much as the next person, but how are we defining them? Beware, lest you think that people’s lives are better than your own because they appear more charming and put together. Notice, I say appear!
Life is not about the rules we need to follow to cultivate the perfect life. Life is creativity.
“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun”
